I have been making one of the guys at work Mother's Day cards for his wife for the past 6 years (if not longer). He likes to have his kids represented on the card if possible. This year I found out she likes hippos so I remembered Gerda Steiner cute Hippo Stamp. It is no longer a digi stamp so I had to buy the clear stamp - Hippo with Butterfly. Now most of you know I am not a stamper and coloring is not my thing. Well I tried to color him and it looked horrible. After telling off my friends (Karen & Ro) that make stamping look easy God reminded me that wasn't nice and to do what I'm comfortable with!! So I stamped on cardstock and paper pieced!! I love how he turned out. I found this color combo and used it for my inspiration:

I then had my husband design the saying for the shirt and I ran the shirt through the printer to print it on the shirt.

I used sketch #2 from May 2019 Card Sketch Challenge. I flipped it upside down and then added balloons coming from the original image. Original sketch found here: http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2019/03/case-this-sketch-315.html

SUPPLIES:
Stamp: Hippo with Butterfly @ Gerda Steiner Designs
Cardstock: Bazzill
