On my first full day in DC we tried to go visit the capital building, but the wind was so icy cold, we bought tickets to ride the Trolley around the city. We got off and went thru a few of the Smithsonian buildings. Even with many buildings partially under revamp, we still enjoyed learning about the history in many areas.
We ate in the American Indian building and by far- really good food. It cost $33 for the salmon/bison platter. Cary & I split the platter and still couldn't eat it all- and we ate more than we were really hungry for as it was so good.
I stamped "there is still so much to see" but haven't finished the journaling there. The bus & sunglasses are also stamped and then fussy cut.
