A layout for Lara Memories album using an 8x10 school photo. I used papers from the Spring market and Flora No. 1 collections by Carta Bella. I love how well Carta Bella collections coordinate with each other. The mat pieces are machine stitched. The lace, doilies and flowers are from my stash.

Journaling was printed on the outside of an envelope that contains the letter Lara wrote to the "Thooth" fairy in the second grade. Journaling reads". Lara attended 1st and 2nd grades at Lexington Elementary in Monroe, LA. Second grade was one of her favorite years in elementary school. Her teacher, Mrs. Perry, was her favorite teacher. During second grade, Lara lost a tooth during the school day and was upset when no one could find it. Mrs. Perry had her write a note to the tooth fairy to explain. It is in this envelope. She also broke her right arm when another child pushed her from a water fountain on the playground onto a concrete walk. When I went to school to get her after her fall, she begged to go home and get in her bed. She was sure it would be okay if she only did that. Because the break was at the elbow, she had surgery the following day and then wore a cast for six weeks. You can see the top of the cast at the lower left corner of this photo.

Lara's note to the tooth fairy reads: "Thooth fairy I lost my thooth down on the foor at sclool and I was crying. 'Tooth fairy she really did! Mrs. Perry'"
