RR you are such a gentleman, artist, and very talented. Do your designs just come to your mind, or maybe seen something like it somewhere? What is the material behind the card? Have you ever considered making a you tube video?
Oh wow. So beautiful. This card inspires me to think more outside of the box and take inspiration from non-typical places. I'll have to dig through my paper and see what I've got.
Gosh, that's fantabulous, Rob!!! Love the shooting stars and cute moon!! That million dollar word is awesome stuff and don't you just love the Verdigris embossing powder??!!! It's one of my favorites! Beautifully designed and presented!
Oh my this is so delightful! Shooting stars, colorful asters, and beautifully framed butterfly! Your friends are sure to adore this! It would brighten anyone's day!
This was done for a couple that are friends of mine. They've been dealing with a lot of health problems lately and I thought they needed a little something. The paper is G45's Midnight Masquerade. I also used some Bazzill Basics grass grain textured cardstock (I LOVE that stuff) and some Darice glitter cardstock (unfortunately I don't think they are making it anymore). There is some glitter paper from Paper studio in there also which I really like the texture and look, but not real thrilled about the paper itself. I came across some that look almost identical by Recollections that is on nicer paper but a little more expensive... I will try it soon. The card was my own design, but I must have gotten the measurements wrong because I had to add some folds after having cut it on my Cricut Air Pro. However, it ended up lending itself to the stars and moon in the end. I actually really like that extra fold and am hoping to figure out the dimensions to use it on other cards of this style in the future. The key was covered with Ranger verdigris embossing powder. The one dark purple paper is the 100% silk paper I am so found of. The paper cord that attaches the stars and moon is MIZUHIKI (million dollar word), if you don't already own some I think all paper artist should have some in their arsenal! The flowers were meant to be quick and easy but when I got them cut you couldn't see the layer of petals so I went in and used the prima alchemy waxes to highlight the edges. I think that's all... if I missed something and you have questions feel free to ask! Thanx so much for looking :)
