I hosted a Cigar box swap and Kristine was my partner. She wanted Shabby, Girly, Pink and playful. This is what I made for her. The main box I painted candy pink, then did the texture with a soft white called Antique Parchment. The outcome was a Happy accident! Like the variation of lines and texture. All the chipboard and metals throughout are painted with a Peony Pink enamel. The Ballerina rice pp is from Stamperia. The pps I used were Stamperia's "Precious" and Prima's "Love Story". I thought they both worked well with the image. The vintage crystal knob is from my stash. The borders at top and bottom of the sides of the box are Stamperia too. The feet are a vintage set I had for a bit in my stash as well. I just painted them the same pink peony as all the other metals and chipboard. I wanted to keep this light, airy, and playful. I like how it turned out! I took the photos in a hurry so I did not notice my box had writing on it until now. I was in a hurry to beat the rain. TFL!
