So many great details...really like how you cut out the shape of type ink smooshed piece. So great that you took inspiration for the design from the background. The threading is so different and interesting. A super great card!
This card was inspired by the June 2019 Card Sketch Challenge's sketch #4. I used a ink smooshing result that I made several card challenges ago. I liked how this one turned out, but I'd never found the right home for it before now.... and the sketch inspiration.
A few of the negative spaces in the inking gave me the idea to thread the outer most vertical strips. And then I noticed a negative spot that looked like a butterfly emerging from the ink... thus, the punched butterflies were added.
Papers were all scraps. The fishtail banner was already cut in that shape in fact. The polka dotted one is by The Paper Company. The others are unknown. The eyelets are from The Paper Studio. The butterfly punches are big: Martha Stewart, medium: Emaginations and small: Recollections. The "thanks" die is by Cuttlebug. The inks were from a marker set by Tombow called Groovy.
