I really had a blast with this. It is my first ever altered paintbrush! It is about 11" long all together. The handle originally was black plastic. I first put Gesso over the entire brush, then added Tim Holtz Ranger Clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint to the handle and metal part. After that all dried I painted it with Deco Art Extreme Sheen Metallic Paint in Lavender Frost. Donna and I share the same favorite color!!

Reneabouquets products used: The gorgeous butterfly, Beautiful Beads, Beautiful Board that I embossed with Stampendous Shabby White EP, dark purple chunky glitter glass, the pleated tulle and the lace over that.

Special thanks to Vicki (Crimson Mama) for the lovely bling on the bow and the rose cameo. I painted it with Orchid and Ballerina Liquid Pearls as it was mostly green, and to Carri (Caletts) for the Lavender Stickles I used on the brush.

I added one of my altered keys to the body also. Oh yes, I used Gesso on most everything to tone the colors down a bit too. I think that is the first time I've done that! I love that look.

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery!
