Hi @Swartz437! The cord is made with a raffia kind of twine. Cutting a few strands and thread fold in half. Thread the folded end through the hole and pull. Pull loose ends through the loop and pull tight. This is the same way you create a book mark fringe. - Jen Evans Heidi Swapp Customer Service Support
