Journaling - The showpiece of the museum displayed as the "ship in the bottle" is the Nydia. The boat is 30 ft long and constructed of cypress & steam-bent oak at the Johnson Shipyard in Biloxi in 1898. The Nydia is the only know Johnson boat left.
