Our annual camping trip was the hottest week of the summer. July 14-20, 2019.
We did a lot of sitting around.
Journaling is for one of my grandchildren.
This year, 2019 was one of the hottest we've ever had at Devil's Lake. First of all your Dad couldn't get the AC fixed in your camper---that's another story. So your Mom and Dad went to Menard's and bought a room AC. It worked so-so. We had two terrible storms at night. Your aunt Casey said she was done with camping because the storms were so scary. You kids did go jump off the rocks when Jack came up for the day. Van rode his bike to the camping store about a dozen times. We rode the DUCKS. Aunt Rose, Nev, Van, Jack, Rayn and Mema drove into Lake Delton for Starbucks. We did the outlet mall one day.
Highlight for most was the Escape Room by the outlet mall-- even I, Mema, would say it was a HIGH!
