Great job of showing how your family celebrates the holiday season! I like the lo design and the striped paper you used to mat the pictures and journaling.
I love how you have managed to bring together two different religions and keep traditions of both, as a new personal tradition, within your family. The photo's are a beautiful reminder of both traditions. I love how you set this lo out, and again your choice of colours and papers is just spot on. Great journalling circle, the brads set it off beautifully.
This LO creates a real mood Lenore...it's wonderful! You can tell by James face that he has assumed the task with great respect and seriousness! Wonderful! A great lo my friend!
What a great diverse LO! Love the menorah in the foreground and the Christmas tree in the background! Not only is the subject matter great....so is the LO. The colors you chose for the bg and for the matting is perfect. James looks so grown up here!
These pictures are of our DS lighting the Hanukkah menorah candles this year. We are a religiously diverse family....I was raised Jewish and my DH was raised Methodist, so we do bits of both for our son. You can see the Christmas tree in the background of these pictures, as well!!
I've used some of the prayers that we say each night of Hanukkah as the journaling on this LO:
"As one candle may kindle many others, and yet loose none of it's own light, so Judaism has kindled the light of truth, for many religions, in many lands, and still shines brightly through the ages."
