Mermaids Welcome~ Ocean Box~

I was absolutely elated that Deb, was my selected partner. A fun Reneabouquets Nautical swap, hosted by Donna.
My main focus was on the Mermaids. I wanted to incorporate the Mermaids Tale, by using Renea's beautiful board- Mermaids Welcome:)
*A big thank you, to Caroline, who so graciously sent me the resin Mermaids. :)
Lots of detailed work went into the mermaids. I detailed them with paints, and art beads. :)
The child-like mermaid swimming reminded me of my granddaughter, lol..
And of course a diva has to fit in, my favorite is the mermaid holding the heart. I cut that one in half to portray her own little world. I used stones to build it up. The portal has glow in the dark beads, when it's held over the light it glows in the dark. I made a clear cast to go over the dolphins. I wanted the Ocean Floor to be seen and not covered completely up. I also wanted to keep the focus on the Mermaids Tale.
I used the Cella Bella pps, and enjoyed creating this fun project for Deb:) I know Deb, didn't want it to overdone, I feel like I accomplished that:)
I added another view of the Mermaids as it was difficult to achieve a brighter picture.
