Ok...explanation...I recently purchased a trio of Tim Holtz Distress Collage Mediums in Matte, Crazing and Vintage finishes, as well as his Collage Brush Set. After seeing a video demo he did I wanted to get these products and try them out. I also had previously purchased his 6" Aviary Collage Paper at Hobby Lobby. As a lot of you know I am a bird lover and that collage paper is beautiful. The only drawback, I found out after I opened the container, I found out it is tissue paper, very thin, but still beautiful! There is 6 yards in a roll.

So, I decided to try using the medium. I found a scrap of this Canvas Corp script card stock in my stash. I used the Crazing medium first with the piece on the right. The tissue tears easily so you have to be careful about that. I used the Vintage medium on the image on the left. I love how that turned out. The crazing, or crackle doesn't show up as much as I would like so I may add another layer or used it with sturdier paper or TH botanical layers. I inked in a bit using TH Vintage Photo to try and make the crazing show up better. You can vaguely make it out.

Thanks for stopping by!

I do like how they came out and plan to use them as card fronts.
