One of my mixed media creations. I remember always being told not to touch the art work when at doctor's offices and so I create art which invites you to touch it with its many different textures.
The hair is made from yarn. I used puffy fabric paint for the teardrops and to outline the woman and I used a piece of tulle for her skirt. Embroidered trim was used for her choker.
The writing to the left top of her is written on a piece of crumpled and flattened out modge podge tissue paper.
This piece shows what can happens when we release guilt, shame, worries, fears and blame...we create the space needed for all of the yummy and delicious words to fill us.
