This Penny Black stamp reminds me of my mother, gone since 2003. I used markers for her outfit that reflect the colors of her favorite skirt and jacket. This shows how I fussy-cut the image and popped it up from the background with pop-dots. The background is a piece of tissue paper I colored and blended with Distress Ink. It is mounted on a wooden box which allowed me to hang it on my bedroom wall.
