My son's sweet dog, Teddy. He is a boy dog so I wanted to "ruff" things up -- couldn't resist that pun! I distressed the edges of the grid background paper and inked the edges, spilling out onto the page in a few spots to mess things up a bit (just like Teddy does). Also inked the edges of the smaller paper layers, photo mat and paw print circles and added some light paw print stamping on the background paper. I stitched around the edges of the background grid paper and photo mat to add definition. "Thankful" and several of the sentiments are raised on pop-up squares for dimension, and the burlap look of some of small paper layers adds a "ruffer" textured feeling.
