A layout about my 'bachelorette party' or 'hen night' as we call it in New Zealand.
The journalling says: 'Steve and I had our stag and hen nights the Saturday two weeks before the wedding. Thanks to Rebecca Donne, my hen night was very successful, if a little embarrassing. I had to wear a lei and carry a bouquet of blown up condoms all night, and after scoring about 50% on a quiz about Steve, I had a list of challenges to complete. I managed to get a guy to serenade me, another to give me his underwear and two to buy me drinks, so I think I did pretty well, even though I didn't get a condom or a photo of a guy's girlfriend out of any of them. We ended up in a karaoke bar, where we sang 'It's Raining Men' and 'Runaround Sue'. Showboys was closed, much to everyone's disgust (and probably relief too in part) but it was a good night.
Steve's night seemed to go really well too. Nick put an open tab on the bar at Occidental, and nearly $800 later, they all left, very very drunk. But Steve seemed very happy, if very hungover, and I think he was pretty chuffed about the whole night. He was relieved to wake up with all his hair intact too!
Thanks must definitely go to Rebecca Donne and Nick Guy for organising the evenings. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks guys!'
