Journaling: One of my favorite things to do in the fall is to spend a
weekend in October at Bridge Creek Cottage. It’s a
wonderful place to get away and have some “me” time with
friends I have gotten to know over the years. Most of the
ladies are quilters. Some do traditional paper scrapbooking.
I do digital scrapbooking. Some come there just for the time
away from home for themselves. The theme is “Halloween”
because it’s October. Our hosts, Debbie and Martha, create
wonderful menus! There is never a shortage of great food or
snacks! We usually play a game or 2 and those who choose to,
dress up in costume! We even do some trick or treating! We
can stay in our jammies all day, stay up late, get up late. There
is no set schedule for anyone. A massage therapist is there
all weekend. I so look forward to a 60 minute massage while I’m
there! We are truly pampered every minute we are there! Love it!!
I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place
to relax and enjoy their craft.
