Hello my dear friends, fellow artists and crafters!!!

This here is a sympathy card for someone whom I grew up around and who in many ways is like an aunt to me. Her husband died a few months ago (this card is actually a few months old from now) and I thought she needed a truly beautiful card. I tend to do a lot of searching on Pinterst and had come across the tilted easel cards like this and had been wanting to do one. I observed that if they were done right they were rather stunning! So I thought this was a perfect opportunity to try my hand at one.

I used the Stamperia New England paper pad to start with and some of the AC crafts textured cardstock. The base is some velum bristle that I got from a large paper pad I have had lying around. The rose, daisies and blue bells were all handmade. I used some of Ranger's white embossing powder with the one TH script stamp I have. The acetate is embossed with some clear embossing powder mixed with some mica pigment. It's a sympathy sentiment on the acetate, but I'm not really sure how legible it came out in the end. All the diecuts on this piece were all done on my Cricut Air. The Tassel was created with several ribbons, yarns and embroidery threads. Some chain and wire was added along with several charms and beads. I think it came out very nicely!!! I really have grown quite fond of these lovely eccentric tassels and they are so very fun to make!!! The one light embellishment is from a mold that I have. The bow is seam binding ribbon in natural. In the very inside I used a heavy piece of pinstriped vellum over the lovely small blue rose patterned paper. This ended up having the hand written part of the card and I must say it came out just glorious! I used some paradise shine finished Swarovski crystals on the four corners.

That's all I can think to say right now. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!!! I'd be happy to respond! Thank you so very much for taking the time to look, I really appreciate it :D
