Cool! So those turkeys just wander around where you live, eh. Biggest wild birds around here were the Canada geese but they've all flown south to poop on American golf courses (sorry guys :-).
Your pictures are lovely, and so is the foil sunburst on the left! BTW, your journaling about "don't forget to fly" made me wonder if turkey could actually fly, so I looked it up and found out wild ones can indeed fly. I learned something new today!
Nice pictures and I love the sunburst. We have wild turkeys like crazy here on our property. Sometimes as many as 3 dozen at a time. This year in the big bunch, there are two or three that have lots of white in them, like they've bred with domestic birds. They keep coming in and eating the acorns that have fallen on the ground from our trees. They also try to get into our grapes so my husband shoos them away!
Maybe I’ve lived near the city too long - I was fascinated by the wild turkeys just wandering around near Londonderry, NH..in the neighborhoods. Hate to say it, but Thanksgiving did come to mind.
