This is the 2nd time I've created a layout using this photo. I absolutely LOVE it! Imagine in 1947 in a rural town (Gueydan - pronounced Gay Don without the French accent which I don't know how to spell - ha) in extreme South Louisiana, where roads are dirt and front yards have chickens and their coops and houses are up on concrete risers to protect from flooding. And then you, your sister and a friend decide to dress up and put on your high heels to pose on top of a car!!! My beautiful 17 year old mother is on the right. She was classy ALL of her life and taught me how to examine and make sure clothing was well made. God my heart aches for my mother. But, I have many blessings from her. This one is now framed and hanging on my livingroom wall of family.
