Cute layout. Kids learn so much from their class pets. And so do their Moms :o) My son brought home the class rat over Christmas break one time. It was then that I learned rats are kinda cute and very friendly. One other time as adults, he and his girlfriend brought her pair of rats over to visit and I thought the same thing about them. BUT, while they were being held they just went potty or poop even in the air!! Dont like rats so much anymore! :o)Ro

I’m holding a rodent of some sort in my hand; apparently, my second grade class had a pet gerbil or hamster and everyone got to take him/her home. No one can really remember for how long - my mom says it seemed like forever (but that’s because she probably ended up doing most of the care part).
