I dated Cameron for nearly a year when I was 16. Even now, when I'm married with two kids and he's engaged with a second child on the way, we're still very good friends. And he and my husband have become very good friends too. I had some letters Cameron had sent me while we were dating and while it wasn't really appropriate to 'display' them, I didn't want to throw them out either. So I made this page, using one of the only photos I have of him during the time we dated, and made this page. It is actually a pocket, with his letters behind it.
The badges were mine, but were far more applicable to him than to me. They also match really well to a page about him because we were both in Venturer Scouts when we dated and most of our time together was spent on Scout activities.
I love this picture of him because he has changed SO much since then. He was 17-18 then and he's SO different now at 29. He has long hair, he's a lot bigger (both musclier and heavier) and he doesn't look ANYTHING like he does in this photo. So I can keep my happy memories of the boy I dated, who is so different from the man who is my friend.
