The Pets Memorial Wall Hanging up close -
I've begun my Pets Memorial Wall Hanging by decorating the Centerpiece. Seven pets are memorialized and hanging in my living room. Each are framed; frames are spray painted with Rustoleum Satin Silver Lilac to match my new furniture; each will be be decorated including their name. They all made an immeasurable, profound impact in my life. Three were not owned by me - Ginger (1970's family dog); Lena (1990's beautiful sweetest Calico ever) and the endearing, glorious Greta (German Shepherd). From right bottom corner clockwise - TT (for Tiny Tiger)- the only male in my life and the first reason I got hooked on cats forever; Ginger (the smartest mutt in the entire world); Lena (the most sweetest Calico cat you could ever meet); Greta (oh the glorious Greta! What a loving, sweet, gentle and very smart German Shepherd); Pepper (my little P-Baby who became mine when my parents passed away....she stole my heart for 7 years); Sophie (the absolute LOVE of my life that NO animal, even my present day kitties, can take her place in my heart. She was the very best of all. Robbed from me at age 14 by nasty coyotes); and last but not least, Sybil (an adopted cat I saved from just days of euthanasia. She had many personalities, but we loved her for the short 1-1/2 years she was with us before heart failure took her away).
Those that know me, know that animals are the ultimate in my life. I can't live without them. And I never will be without an animal or two or three or.....in my life forever.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Thanks for kind comments and for viewing my post. Lisa
