I like all the circles, and especially looking at the different patterns. By keeping your photo matting so clean and not adding a bunch of other stuff to the page keeps the layout interesting rather than clutter-y. I really like the paper that has the red (flowers?) on it ...under the photo on the right. So pretty!
Again I'm still working on my brother's calendar. Seriously almost done. This LO is crazy busy for me and I got the look from my husband indicating he thought it was too but I think this is my favorite layout in this calendar because: I used up so many tiny Christmas scraps making circles. The other reason is, I finally learned how to emboss my Spellbinders dies in my Gemini. Now I can cut and easily emboss them for techniques. I like to use distress ink on the dies while they are still in the die. If you look at the top in the center, there is a green circle with holly stamped in it. The inside is a little darker than the outside edges. Now that I'm looking at it, the big red circle on the right of the green also has red distress ink in the center. The last thing-I used those tiny little circle dies when making this background. I never use those. I'm glad this challenge pushed me to work on cutting out circles. The Daily inspiration challenge for Jan 15 National Bagel Day is using at least two circles of different sizes.
