Thanks for all of the sweet comments! I'm going to try my hardest to answer dpkayli's question:
Basically, I tore the paper width wise, and then I made little tear marks all along the edge, going vertically, then folded those little strips down. To keep them down, I pulled out the iron, and on low, ironed them down.
Alright Heather, you made me get all choked up here at 1 in the morning - THANK YOU! This is so precious, once again your layering and tearing/curling is perfect. Love it!
So how do you do the paper curling thingee? I know everyone is probably thinking, "isn't it rather self-explanatory?" but I need the basics. This is so cute.
Wow!!! This lo is AWESOME!! love the way you did the title, paper tearing/curling, everything looks great. love how the actual hand prints contrasts with the b&w photo. this is going into my faves!! =)
Very sweet Heather! I remember how much funit was doing Maggie's feet at 6 months... Needless to say, I'm looking forward to doing it again in about a month when she turns 1!
These are Brian’s 1 year handprints and footprints. I dare anybody to try to get him to do better prints! :) I did them once, and he'd had enough!!!
I used the Chatterbox Sun Room collection of patterned paper, along with the Bazzill Cardstock that coordinates with the Chatterbox paper. Thanks to Becky (Samsmom) for the poem, which says:
A Reminder
This is to remind you when I have grown so tall, that once I was quite little, and my hands were very small.
This is my hand. My hand will do a 1000 loving things for you. And you will remember when I am tall... that once my hand was just this small.
This is the hand you used to hold, when I was only 1 year old.
Thanks for looking! :)
