The reason I am posting this symbol is because I have a rare blood disease that prevents my body to produce natural iron thru red blood cells.
Right now I am battling a severe case of anemia which I am treated in the oncology dept. People are unaware of the battles of blood irregularities that cannot be cured and has to be aided to your survival. Recently I had two units of transfusions to bring my hemoglobin up so I can start my infusions once again.
We all sit in our area with different drips hanging above us, my pole has 3 bags hanging from it, with hopes of getting better for good. I have been saying this since 2012 and it is becoming harder for my body to fight this. I have a shot of cancer drug for illness and I feel terrible for a few days after.
I wear new hats I have knitted so nobody can see how bad my hair has thinned and looks scraggly. I think if I was totally bald I would feel better and am considering shaving the rest off. That is why I changed my profile image to a happy one, a cup full of love with my furbabies. We laugh, weep and pray for the one missing from their chair. Ned recently lost his fight with cancer. He will be remembered by all.
