My dad believed that girls could do science and play in dirt too and gave me many opportunities to explore my curiosity from chemistry sets to watching crystal form to making potato electricity. I couldn't find any real-life photos so went to the best source - the Internet - and searched for science kits of the early 1970s. The quote reads:
