Photo of my new scraproom! My old scraproom was 8 X 12. Since my youngest son left the nest we had two empty bedrooms so we decided to tear the wall down and create my new scraproom which measures 24 X 12! My husband put in a sliding door and a walk-in closet. I now have space for lots of goodies! I kept my big armoire and painted it white along with the rest of the furniture. The two tables & chairs are from Ikea: Melltorp collection & the chairs Adde collection. I mostly scrap alone or with two of my girlfriends so 4 chairs come in handy. The chairs are always occupied since as soon as I open the door to the scraproom my two cats hurry up and settle on the comfy pink cushions also bought at Ikea: Lurvig collection. Ribbons are kept in jars, ink pads on the small lasy susan all from Ikea. Misting sprays on a shelf from Zulily. Tools and coloring books are kept on wood furniture from Ikea: Lesvik collection which I painted white. Baskets are from Ikea painted pink. Metal pink bin from Ikea. Floating wall shelf for alcohol inks handmade by my husband. Far left hand side of photo is a counter space for working standing up which I absolutely love, all installed by my husband. The two white window curtains are from Ikea (not shown in photo). This has become my creative haven!
