this is my memo board. i've been looking for a calendar for ages, but i never found one i liked. i wanted a calendar that i can reuse every month.
i bought the corkboard from target for $7, and the letters from ikea for $1/each. after sanding, my brother spraypainted the frame and the letters a metallic silver. i cut 2x3" rectangles from my scraps, and glued on alphastax. i formed a pocket from vellum and cardstock so that i could change out the alphastax for every month. i bought colorful thumbtacks for $1 at walmart to attach everything to the corkboard. i use mini postits if i need to post a memo for a certain day, and i pinned up miscellaneous things flyers and reminders on the remaining portion to the right.
i'm really happy with how it turned out, and i was able to use scraps from my favorite papers =)
