Beautiful cards Elizabeth! Congrats on getting them flat, I too have a hard time with that and still a lot of mine are like .25." thick. I've got to have flowers! lol I love the Iris die cut, that's such a great idea looking through my empheria packs. I've got to do that!
This month I joined the "Cards for Kindness" Challenge that Dawna is hosting. It is a challenge for me to make flat cards! I decided to start using up some scraps and ephemera packs I've had for a good ten years!
Top left is made entirely from scraps including the card base! Although you can't see it in the picture, the white paper is embossed and came that way in a very cool envelope piece sent to me by Robin in a diecut swap we participated in a couple of years ago. I used one of my diecut set that my son, Sam, gave me for Christmas on it as well as the little label. The red diecut was one I found in my scraps stash and I didn't use it for another project. The paper is so cool. It was from HL and looks like crinkled suede. The die was from Ali. I stamped my sentiment using Hero Arts CL351 clear stamps. The inside of all three is blank.
Top right ephemera diecuts from K & Company.
Bottom card is again from scraps. Butterfly is acetate from K & Company.
Nothing fancy but flat! Also entered in this month's Scrap With Your Scraps Challenge!
