Journaling: This tugboat fought fires on Battleship Row, rescued wounded sailors, as well as beaching the battleship USS Nevada during the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. Hoga served the US Navy until 1948 when she was loaned to the City of Oakland as a fire boat. She ended her fire fighting career in 1994, and was then brought to her final home in North Little Rock in 2015.
