This is the revamped version of an apothecary cabinet I made for my daughter in law. Red is her favorite color but she also loves earth tones. What better paper to use than some old Basic Grey Scarlett Letter. I stripped off the old fabric covered cardboard that was thumb tacked to the drawer fronts and the top. I found it at Goodwill and although it was hideous at the time I knew I could do something pretty with it. I also added some molded pieces to the top and sides. I made them with resin instead of clay so the wouldn't chip if bumped in her kitchen. I have a couple of these cabinets in my kitchen with the porcelain drawers and she's always admiring them so now she has one of her own. I hope she likes it.
