What an adorable cat. I can relate to most of the journalling blocks, because our cat is/does most of these things too. I love how you kept everything simple and easy and just used what you had at hand. This is truly scrapping. You still ended up with an amazing lo, great work.
LOL! I'm too cheap to spend all that money on circle cutters, so I use bowls, pizza pans, etc. to cut circles! Great LO! I like the colors and the idea of painting the paper!
Last night, I made an 8x11 inch layout of my cat. Here are some "use what you have" techinques I used for it.
- I used a dinner plate to trace the patterned paper.
- I used an ordinary desk three-hole punch to create the circle punch-outs from scrap paper.
- I didn't have solid black paper, so I painted a sheet of scrap paper with black acryllic paint and let it dry. I used it to cut out the title with the Cricut machine, and matted the photo with the remaining paper. So easy!
