The stenciling and water spritzing is very becoming on this. Like the die cut border borders too... one that you can see all the way through and the other that you can't. I wouldn't have thought to do the latter but adds nice interest to the card.

I stenciled the brighter and darker card a while back. From the looks of it, I think I must have spritzed it with water. The other background was made by misting the left-over ink that was on the stencil after making the first background and stamping that onto another piece of watercolor paper. I like the lighter one best.
When stamping with a stencil, it is easier to remove the stencil if you place the cardstock on an acrylic block. That way you can lift the stencil off easily, something I picked up from a Loll Thompson tutorial, Stenciling with Brushos.

I die-cut multiple times and layered two of the die-cuts together using Gina K Designs Connect Glue.
