Pictures and journaling detailing the loss of my teaching job 8 weeks into the school year due to budget cuts.
Journaling reads: "Teaching third grade at Horizon Christian Academy on Broadway was a dream come true for me. I finally was a classroom teacher and I was loving every minute of it. Teaching was hard work but it was so rewarding. My 11 students were learning and we were becoming a classroom community. I was so proud of them and they had come a long way in a few short months.
However, 8 weeks into the school year, there were budget cuts and because class sizes were so small and I was the last one hired, I lost my job. I was devastated because this was my dream and it all came crashing down. I did not get to say goodbye to my students and that was rough.
But even in all this, I am trusting God's plan and know that He is in control."
