This is my first actual 12x12 layout since last September! I have had this picture printed out for who knows how many years and finally I got inspired to make a layout, although I struggled with getting some mojo for it!

I used a die from Aliexpress to cut out the picture. Doilies under it are from our local antique mall, the bottom one being tatted and the one in multi-colored thread is crocheted.

I used Blue Fern Studios Bird Waltz papers (Bird Waltz and Song Bird). The label is Bird Waltz Ephemera and the stamps under it and on the left side are BFS Botanical Melange for the Bird Waltz theme. I used Tim Holtz Walnut Stain for stamping.

Special thanks to Carri for the bird houses hanging on a branch with flowers and birds diecut at the top! I was going to leave them white but decided to do some watercoloring on them. I used several different TH Distress Ink Pads by stamping them on my craft sheet, squirting with a bit of water and then dabbing my paint brush in that. It worked out just fine since I don't really have any watercolor paints.

I used Americana Classic Jacobean Floral stencil for the flowers to the left of the picture. I painted with Prima Sparks Fairy Wings and Folk Art Pink Rouge Pearl Acrylic Paint. Then added some copper colored microbeads from Reneabouquets and Stickles Stardust to the flowers. In the peekaboo piece I had stamp embossed using that same stamp under the label just to test it and see how it would look under the label. I didn't like how it turned out so I just used it there instead!

Flowers under the picture are Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaf vines I cut out a few days ago from scraps (I did a lot of different ones over two days trying to use up scraps)!

Buttons are vintage from the antique mall. Gorgeous butterflies are Reneabouquets.

I also used Liquid Pearls on the two corner pieces. "You are Beautiful" is a Gabrielle Pollacco stamp.

I'm entering this in the Mixed Media Challenge, Use Your Scraps Challenge and the Use Your Stamps Challenge.

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery! Hugs to all.
