I started this birthday card by making the poppy. I mixed die cuts from several floral die sets in my stash, then watercolored and inked each piece. The background music print is from Stamperia. I inked and distressed its edges, then matted it with a red layer that I inked to match my flower. Both layers were adhered to a black card base. The lovely lace was a gift from my very kind friend FritillaryB (Thank you Pam!). I also added tiny black pearls from my stash and a vellum tag with a small black birthday sentiment sticker.
