Journaling Reads: I met my two best friends, Anne and Julie at college. I was so fortunate to have been assigned Anne as a roommate and to have Julie as a next-door neighbor in the dorms. We all eventually became “sisters” by pledging the same sorority (Kappa Beta Gamma), whose flower the forget-me-not reminds us of the importance of our friendship. Over the past twenty years, we have celebrated life’s many blessings and comforted each other through our deepest sorrows. Although geography now keeps us from seeing each other as often as we would like, I know that no matter the time of day, when I am in need of a friend to laugh or cry with, the first place I will turn it to my true blue sisters, Anne and Julie!
