OK, here's how it came together:
1) made a stencil of stars on the Cricut
2) made the background paper with stencil and stamp pads
3) made a painted paper (strips on tops and bottoms)
4) Made the vellum stamped and embossed photo mat (bottom right left page)
5) Made embellishments on the circuit (hat/diploma bottom left of the left page and graduate top left of the right page)
6) made the journal box
7) added extras from my stash (the mat under the graduate die-cut and the extra silver stars scattered through the middle)
Then it was assembly time!
