What a cool experience this was! TCM (Turner Classic Movies) was celebrating their 25th anniversary and 10th TCM Film Festival anniversary last May, 2019 and my company was a sponsor of the events. There were classic movie screenings, cocktail receptions with lots of movie memorabilia and panel discussions with actors, crew and directors. Hubs and I got to pick the event we wanted to attend. There were lots to choose form, including Breakfast at Tiffany's, Blazing Saddles, Gone with the Wind and Star Wars: A New Hope. As tempting as the others were, the nerdy SW geek in me could NOT pass up seeing the original Star Wars on the big screen! Hubs didn't mind and we decided to make it a formal date. I had Hub's suit dry cleaned and I pulled out this tulle skirt I got a while back and never wear as well as my Jimmy Choos. We had tickets to the show at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood as well as the pre-screening party at the Roosevelt. We walked the strip, saw the stars on the sidewalk and then got to check out all the awesome movie props on display at the Roosevelt - including Darth Vader's suit from Empire Strikes Back! Major startstruck moment for me! I actually saved one of the tickets for the event to use, but I can't find it so I left a space behind my photo for me to tuck it when I find it!

I had planned to finish this on May the Fourth (Star Wars Day), but it didn't happen. I was able to finish last night and glad I did! LOVE how it turned out!
TFL!
