I chose May Flowers and Pick a Color for my themes for this month's swap. Green is Beth's favorite color so it worked out perfectly for a background.
All the flowers in the pockets are dimensional stickers that I've hoarded for several years! I used an old Cosmo Cricket collection for the paper in my background and embossed it with Tim Holtz 3D Botanical EF, then sanded the edges. I inked around each card with TH Mowed Lawn Distress Ink Pad using a fingertip dauber. I accented each pocket with liquid pearls.
Normally, I take a photo of the pocket letter with the cards outside of their page protector but since I added flourish vines and lovely butterflies and dragonflies from Reneabouquets to the outside, I knew that wouldn't work well.
The trim on the border is elasticized and from Hobby Lobby. The carnations are Wild Orchid Crafts. The oval diecut was one I cut from G45's Flutter Collection awhile back and never used.
I took a picture of the tassel and charm and posted it also but it's a bit blurry. Beth can remove the charms if she wants to use them for something else. Special thanks to Rebecca for the green bling and polka dot ribbons and Robbie for the soft yarn.
I am entering this in the NSD Scrapbooker's Choice, Hoarders, and Stickers challenges.
