Inside: You're thought of, cared for, and wrapped up in prayer - especially this Mother's Day.
This isn't a typical happy mother's day card. This was for a lady who just lost her husband and this is the first holiday without him (besides Easter). I wanted her to know I was thinking of her and understood if she had a hard day. They have a 10 year old daughter. I was told by her friend that she likes red, grey and black for favorite colors. So I went with grey and white with touch of red. I used scraps for the card.
May 2020 Inspirational Card Challenge - theme - for a female. May 2020 Card Sketch Challenge - Sketch 5 - turned it horizontal and put the sentiment on the large stripe instead of separate box. May Happy Mail Challenge - I sent this to lady who lost her husband in March.
