This is so gorgeous. I love the little touches of stickles and stenciling that make this so original. That compass piece is beautiful. You do such creative and elegant work.
OMW you really out did yourself with this lovely lo Elizabeth! I love all the fussy cutting, your chippy, bling, and that photos is so special! You really did an amazing job on this!
I thought this might be the first layout I've ever made using Graphic 45 because their papers intimidate me when it comes to layouts. However, I did find in my gallery that I made one back in 2016 using their gorgeous Botanical Tea collection! When I saw this picture on FB of my husband's sweet first and second cousin taken on Mother's Day, I was inspired to make a layout using the gorgeous Flutter Collection. Thelma and Kathy are family to me and I have known them all my life. They both have a green thumb and love flowers so I knew this paper would be perfect to use, and I love how it turned out. I will be sending this to them as a surprise gift!
I posted close-ups also, so you can see the fussy cutting I did. There are two sheets of each double-sided paper to this collection and I decided to fussy cut several of the flowers and a butterfly and place them over their mates using foam squares to give them dimension. On the tulip, I just did the one petal. I love how they turned out.
I used different colors of Stickles as well as Wink of Stella in various places to bling it up a bit too.
Reneabouquets products are three of the butterflies, the Beautiful Board compass that I embossed with Stampendous Shabby White and the pointer with Zing Gold, the Midnight Magic Beautiful Beads on the compass, the ivy vine I embossed it with Ranger Verdigris and the tiny fairy on a flourish sitting among the flowers!
Special thanks to Mary (Abbygirl) for the lovely Prima roses and to Dawna (Dawna.s Place) for the lovely lattice embossing folder I used to frame the picture. I sanded down the raised edges. Also, thanks to Carri (Caletts) for the Seafoam and Lavender Stickles I used!
The white lace trim under the tag at the top is from Flair By Me on FB. I cut it lengthwise down the middle to use as a border and added Liquid Pearls to the centers.
For the masking, I used my Gesso instead of texture paste this time.
I will be entering this in the NSD Scrapbooker's Choice, Mixed Media and Girls Only Challenges.
Thank you so much for taking time to visit my gallery. I appreciate all of you!
