My mom passed away 2 yrs. ago, July 12/18, just 3 months before her 98th birthday. All of the embellishments used have great personal meaning to me. Mom enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens and especially liked to see butterflies and ladybugs as she worked. Her green thumb was passed on to all of her children and most of her grandchildren. A newspaper clipping is folded inside the Obituary note, and both are easily removed for future generations to examine. In the small photo, mom is in her early 20s, holding a bunch of chennettes (guinep) in her father's garden in the island of her birth, Tobago.

Items Used: Distress Ink, Acrylic Paint, Liquid Pearls, die cuts, punch, scissors (for fussy cutting), card stock, plain paper, mixed flowers, pearls, glass beads.

THANKS TO ALL WHO LEAVE A COMMENT OR VOTE FOR ME. MUCH APPRECIATED!
