Growing up, my parents wanted me to have a multi-cultural education so, on Saturdays, I attended Japanese school (designed for children of Japanese business people living in the US for a relatively short time (couple of years) so they don’t get behind in their studies). One of the activities each year is Undokai - or Sports Festival. Sort of like a lightweight Olympics with running, tug of war, and other athletic activities. I HATED IT. Like, HATED IT. I am somewhere on that field.
