Oh my word, Oh my goodness Elizabeth this is amazing! Your love splashes out all over this beautiful L/O!! The intricate details ( incl. the rose cut-outs and lovely focal point) add so much great texture and interest~ (who are those gorgeous models holding bags & posing in the store? : ) LOL Marylou has left her footprints on my heart and life for sure! You are so sweet and kind to pour your creativity into this gift for her. Thank you so much <3
That corner lace is so beautiful. Edging it with Nuvo drops was a great idea. Your lace flowers are always my favorites. This is so wonderful and classy. You do "elegant" so well.
Stunning layout. This is such a thoughtful way to show friendship. I love all of the elegant details you placed upon the page. The beautiful flower you made is lovely, along with the lace corners. I think this is soooooooo gorgeous, nice photos
Aww, fantastic lo!!! You made such a creative and heartwarming lo of 2 of the coolest ladies I know!!!!!
I absolutely love it, and I can see why M does!!!!
I absolutely do love it Laura!!! GF what a wonderful surprise & I am so blessed to have you as a friend. Seeing the pics again reminded me of the fun day Karen & I had. Yes, same paper & one of my fave's. I love all the elements you added to this lo, thank you, thank, you, thank you!! PS I have not been on since February, my mojo went out the window plus I have some issues with my shoulder. Maybe one day I will be back, but for now just know that I am looking at all the beautiful creations!:)
I made this layout as a surprise for my sweet friend, Marylou (Meggie's Nana) (she has promised not to get on the site until she receives it)! The pictures are of her and Karen (Roosterhead Designs) at Marylou's favorite Artsy store that sadly, is now closing.
I used Blue Fern Studio's Bird Waltz paper for the background. I ordered the entire set from the Artsy store and the funny thing is, I believe both Karen and Marylou have the same papers in their bags!
Story behind the diecuts....I found one in my scrap stash that I had cut intending to make a card, but didn't. One side was solid, the other die cut. So I diecut the solid piece to make into two diecuts. I inked them up a bit with TH Aged Mahogany and Worn Lipstick. The diecut is Gemini Rose Garden.
Special thanks to: Dawna for the lovely rosebuds Karin Mosbarger for the Life is Sweeter stamps Laura for the doily diecut under my lace flower Carri for some of the Reneabouquets BBeads (some were from Donna :-( also and some were mine)
I made the lace flower as well as the stick pin.
Butterfly and tiny solid colored roses are also Reneabouquets.
Bird cabochon with bling was from Walmart. Other cabochons from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB. Small coral flowers are from HL.
Thank you so much for visiting my gallery. I so appreciate it!
