For this layout, I used patterned papers and embellishments from the Our Family collection from Carta Bella. The tag for journaling was cut with die.
Journaling on the pull up tab reads: Lara's 6th birthday party was at our house on Emerson Ave. in Monroe. Granny, Grandpa, and Nedra came. Lara's friends who were at her party were her best friend, Emily; Susan; Laura; and Allyson. They all lived in our neighborhood and it was about this time that we began to see what a "social butterfly" our little girl was becoming. Everyone in the neighborhood knew Lara and as we would meet the parents of her friends and some of the other families the reaction was always the same. "Oh, you're Lara's mother!" or "Oh, you're Lara's dad!" She had become well known and loved by all of them.
