So its been a long time since I have scrapped. I am a busy momma with an active kid, but the past couple months I have made a huge effort to get back into my scraproom.
So the first thing did was rearranged my scraproom furniture and finally cleaned off the desk. On top of the desk was this half stitched dragon I had thrown on the back burner 6 months ago because I couldn't find the right papers to create a castle. Conveniently I did come across this minty/aqua paper while I was cleaning. Its actually part of a mermaid paper pad a friend gave me, but it has these bubbles that kind of look like scales on the edges and it made me think of this LO right away. So I put that on and decided to scrap the idea of a castle. I LOVE these confetti letters (they also look like scales to me So boom! I have the title.... sort of...I could not find the right font or color for the princess part. It took many attempts to get the right size and color, but I like how it turned out. It has all the fun fantasy elements.
DD was dressed as Tiamat (queen of the Dragons) for her VPK Dress as your favorite Character day. Trust me when I say my daughter would be a dragon over a princess this isn't a platitude. She is amazing and I adore everything about her. Her bravery, creativity, and imagination. I am just happy we were able to make this little costume together. It was so fun and this LO was equally so. Glad to be back scrapping again. Missed you all
