We have a huge ball shaped Evergreen Pistache tree on the side of our house that we've decorated for years as a giant pumpkin for Halloween. We light it with just the string lights the week of Halloween, and on the 31st, we add the "carved" face, it's a big hit! At Christmas time, we turn it into a giant red ornament!
